Stolica Municipality (SO) introduces a temporary organization of the movement of motor vehicles in connection with the celebrations for May 6 – Day of Courage and a holiday of the Bulgarian Army, the press center of the Armed Forces announced, dariknews.bg reported.
It is prohibited to stay and park for the time from 03:00 in the morning until the end of the event on May 6 in the area of "Nikolay Gyaurov" square, at the parking lots on the northern part of "St. Alexander Nevsky", in the area of the south-eastern part of the square "St. Alexander Nevsky", in the area of "Oborishte" street between "Vasil Levski" Blvd. and square "St. Alexander Nevsky".
For the period from 7:00 a.m. until the end of the event on May 6, the entry of vehicles on “Oborishte“ Street, in the section between "Vasil Levski" Blvd., is prohibited. and "August 11th" street, along "November 15th" street, along "August 11th" street in the section between "Moskovska" and square "St. Alexander Nevsky".
For the time from 8:00 a.m. until the end of the event on May 6, it is prohibited to stop and park the buses transporting the participants in the event on "Tsar Osvoboditel" Blvd. in front of the Archaeological Museum. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the holiday, the entry of road vehicles on "Lege" street is prohibited. in the section between "Tsar Osvoboditel" Blvd. and "Saborna" street.
There will be no military parade in Sofia this year on May 6. Only a ceremony will take place in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior. However, planes will fly over the capital during the ceremony to show that the Bulgarian aviation continues to protect the airspace of our country with its own national forces.
