Russian military facilities will be the first to learn about the appearance of F-16 fighters in the sky of Ukraine and aviation. This opinion was expressed by Bogdan Dolintse to FREEDOM TV.
He noted that the political decision to transfer these planes to Ukraine has already been made. Now everything depends on the completion of the infrastructure processes and the coordination of the supply of ammunition.
The full-scale war that Russia has launched against Ukraine is now in its third year, and Kiev has not yet received a single F-16 fighter jet. It is not yet clear when the first ones will arrive, but in all likelihood by the end of 2024.
In addition to aircraft, it is necessary to ensure the supply of ammunition for them. Most likely, negotiations regarding the shells are still ongoing, Dolinze said.
„The effectiveness of the use of the F-16 directly depends on what plans the Ukrainian military leadership sets for these aircraft and whether the Western partners will be able to provide the necessary amount of ammunition for the full implementation of the assigned tasks,”, he continued.
