Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will lead the traditional Bulgarian pilgrim delegation to Sveta Gora for the celebration of the monastery “St. Int. Georgi Zograf”, BNT reported.
In Athos on May 10 and 11, the prime minister will participate in the evening service, the holy liturgy, as well as the liturgical procession with the icon of the Holy Great Martyr George-Zograph.
During his visit, Prime Minister Glavchev will hold a meeting with the spiritual leadership of Sveta Gora.
The delegation includes the Minister of Education and Science Prof. Galin Tsokov, the Minister of Culture Nayden Todorov, the Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Takhov, as well as national representatives.
